The report captures the experience of a cross section of policy makers, feminist economists and representatives from civil society and women's organizations who are working to make planning more gender responsive in India at various levels of governance- national, state and district and to highlight the importance of generating evidence and strengthening data systems to enable gender responsive planning and budgeting.
