Research Study
Green Growth, Trade, and Industries
This report explores the interconnections between gender equality, regional trade and sustainable development. The study builds on the premise that green growth frameworks devoid of gender fail to achieve the objective of inclusive and sustainable development. It provides evidence from select sectors across four countries in the South Asian region on how women's equal access to and control over resources is not only critical for improving the lives of individuals, families and nations, but equally to ensure the sustainability of the environment.
