The Feminist Policy Collective in partnership with UN Women convened a
Consultation in the context of the upcoming Union Budget plans for 2020-21.
The National Consultation, ‘Deepening
Voice & Visibility for Women’s Rights and Gender Equality’ was held on 18 November, 2019 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. Based on a situational analysis undertaken by the FPC, some thematic areas, strategies and mechanisms for GRB and financing were prioritized for discussions at the consultation: (a) women’s economic empowerment, (b) strategies, tools and mechanisms for gender-responsive and intersectional planning, and, (c) accountability for GRB and financing.
