Brainstorming Meeting among Feminists

National Foundation for India with the support of UN Women organized a
meeting to share experiences and consider ways of working collaboratively
to re-energise the work on Gender-Responsive Budgeting, whether with state
governments or on specific sectors. The idea was to draw them in to a
discussion on how to bring back the feminist politics into the process of
gender responsive budgeting (GRB), which appeared to have become largely a
managerial exercise, in which the analytical work was mostly done
post-facto. The 18 feminists who came together represented work across many
states and many sectors, and many had been part of the last two decades of
the history of GRB in India
